My name is Mikael Sjösten and i live here in Eskilstuna, Sweden. At daytime i study behavioural science at Mälardalens University, and on my spare time i, of course, take som photos. Apart from that i also paint paintings and practise aikido and tennis.
My photoblog is not an portfolio where i show my best photos and nothing else, but more a sort of ongoing flow of pictures. Photos taken and worked with "right now". They can tell something about that day or what might have catch my creative self, and what sort of phase i'm in for the moment.
I see the taken photo as the first step in the process, the rawmaterial that's worked with in the computer in a creative process. Sometimes with less adjustment, somtimes with more. To me the picture is more important than just reproducing.
I'm happy that you came here to take a look. My goal is to post at least a new photo each week so please come back often or if you use rss you can subscribe for new posts.
